Overview

PowerEPOS now includes functionality that allows you to remap the creator or owner of an order. This is useful when orders are originally recorded under a generic user (such as a kiosk interface clerk), and you want to assign them to a specific user for accurate POS Tips and Sales reporting.

Requirements
- PowerEPOS Version 2025.1.23.0 or newer
- Liverpool Interface must be enabled

Configuration

To enable this feature on your POS terminals:

1. Update your POS Touchscreens to include the new key type "Remap Creator / Owner"
   
   
   

Usage Instructions

Follow these steps to re-assign the order owner:

1. Log in to PowerEPOS - Use the PIN number of the user who should take ownership of the sale.
   
   
   
2. Access the order - Navigate to the order that needs to be reassigned.
   
   
   
3. Select "Change Order Owner" - Use the Remap Creator / Owner key to initiate the reassignment.
   
   
   
4. Confirm your selection - Verify the change when prompted.
   
   
   
5. Review the updated ownership - The order review screen will now display you as the new owner of the order.
